Portfolio website for students and fresh graduates that gets interviews

Recruiters open a portfolio for thirty seconds. A student portfolio website that shows real projects, clear explanations and contact details gets the call. Here is what to include and how to build it from ₹3,500.

A résumé lists claims. A portfolio proves them. For students and fresh graduates in computer science, design or any technical field, a simple portfolio website with two or three real projects does more for interviews than a long list of skills. Here is how to make one that recruiters actually read.

What recruiters look for in thirty seconds

  • Who you are and what role you want, in one line.
  • Two or three projects with a screenshot, what it does, what you built and a live link.
  • Evidence you can finish things: a deployed app, a repository with a readme, a report.
  • How to contact you: email, LinkedIn, GitHub.

Pages, kept short

  1. Home. Name, role, one-line summary, links to projects and contact.
  2. Projects. One section per project. Problem, what you built, tools used, what you learned, link.
  3. About. Education, a few lines of personality, what you are looking for.
  4. Contact. Email and a short form.

Mistakes that lose the interview

  • Listing twenty technologies with no project that uses them.
  • Projects described as "a web app" with no screenshot or link.
  • A template full of placeholder text.
  • Broken links and a site that does not load on a phone.

Building it

Acquiretech builds portfolio websites from ₹3,500 with a fast, mobile-first design, project sections, SEO basics and a handover so you can add projects yourself. If you are a developer, we can also mentor you to build it yourself as a project of its own.

Make it findable

Put the link on your résumé, LinkedIn and GitHub profile. Use your name in the page title so searching for you finds the portfolio. Add a short article or two about what you learned building each project; recruiters notice candidates who can explain.

Frequently asked questions

I do not have real projects yet. What should I show?

College projects, hackathon work or a small tool you built for yourself all count. Explain the problem and your part honestly.

Should I include my marks?

Only if they are strong or required by employers you are targeting. Projects matter more.

Can I update it myself later?

Yes. The site is handed over with simple instructions, and project sections are easy to add.

Next step

Send your course, target role and project list. You will get a layout suggestion and a fixed price.
